You have been redirected to this web page because our mail server has refused to accept email from you.

This could be for one of the following reasons.

1. The mail server that you are using to send mail to us is using an IP address that has been blacklisted. We check incoming connections against a number of RBLs (Realtime Block Lists). The bounce message you have received back will give you specific details e.g.

"5.7.1 Your email from IP address 193.252.22.156 was rejected because it is listed by the Realtime Block List provider bl.spamcop.net"

This means that you need to either go to the RBL web site (in this case http://bl.spamcop.net) and request the removal of your IP address or contact your ISP and request that they do it. IP addresses are blacklisted because they have been abused and used to send spam or viruses. We have taken this approach to protect our clients.


2. You are trying to send an attachment that is on our proscribed list. The easiest way around this is to either zip it up or to change the filename extension by replacing the last letter with an underscore. e.g. install.exe to install.ex_ and remember to tell the recipient to change it back at their end!
